12/18 Ryan’s “Soupy” Tuesday Evening Forecast

The moisture continues to pile up ahead of our next frontal system, so expect another night of heavy, soupy air and patchy fog. Be careful driving late tonight and early tomorrow due to the fog, which should be only locally dense in a few locations similar to the last few nights.

Our moisture-related woes continue into tomorrow afternoon as the next frontal system moves in.

Rain will begin by lunchtime, and will continue through the night and into Thursday. Depending on the speed of the overall low pressure system, we’ll begin seeing clearing as early as Thursday afternoon or as late as Friday morning. Regardless, drier and colder air will be moving in for the weekend but won’t stick around for Christmas. At this time temperatures are trending upwards and we could see afternoon highs close to 70 degrees for Christmas with mostly sunny skies and moderate humidity.
