12/17 – Payton’s Monday Afternoon Forecast

A pretty nice December day  for South Mississippi with highs slightly above normal in the mid 60s with some clouds and sunshine. Tuesday will bring very similar conditions with even more sunshine. Wednesday we’ll watch a low near Texas and head out direction. It will be here sometime Wednesday bringing rain chances. Right now we’ll have to fine tune the forecast track of the low, which will determine where the heaviest rain and thunderstorms move across. Right now we’ll go with showers Wednesday and Thursday before clearing starts on Friday. The heaviest rain looks like it will fall to our East at the moment. Friday also brings the first day of Winter and temperatures will be colder on Friday in the upper 50s. Saturday the sun will come out with highs near 60. Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs in the lowers 60s.
