12/14 Ryan’s “Dry-Slot” Friday Evening Forecast

The skies cleared a bit this afternoon thanks to a dry-slot, but an upper-level low pressure center is moving in and will keep cloud cover in the area for another day. Despite the gloomy looking conditions we’ll see tomorrow, don’t expect any significant rainfall for nearly a full week.

Sky conditions will improve dramatically by Sunday afternoon, and mostly sunny skies or better are expected for the rest of the work week.

The afternoon highs and evening lows will be the most significant changes we’ll see over the next several days, and even those are subtle. Our average for this time of year is around 63 degrees, and we’ll be no further than 4 degrees away any given afternoon and even then just for one day. That means the very mild and beautiful weather that moves in Sunday will stick around for the entire workweek with only slight warming and cooling every day. Our overnight lows during this time will fall into the mid 40s, so chilly, but no where near freezing.
