1/17 – Rob’s “Disruptive Wx/Severe Threat” Tuesday Morning Forecast

The blocking high-pressure along Florida continues to hold strong as a cold front to the west struggles to move east. This boundary will ride north through northern Mississippi Wednesday with another front approaching the area Thursday. Thursday afternoon/night could bring the SLIGHT possibility for a few t-storms to become SEVERE. Currently…we area NOT in a SEVERE THREAT area but I do anticipate this to change. The weekend will bring a more vigorous frontal boundary with round 2 for SEVERE THREAT.
