11/14 Ryan’s “Post Birthday/Super Moon” Monday Evening Forecast
The moon seems to be the “star” (puns!) of the evening, but the clear and cold conditions are great supporting actors. Mostly clear skies remain through the evening allowing coastal cities to drop to near 50 along the waterfront, with inland areas falling into the mid and lower 40s. Tomorrow will be sunny & dry with an afternoon high near 72. A weak cold front will move through tomorrow night around 9 PM, but only a small increase in cloud cover and a minuscule chance of rain will be expected. Things remain benign as ridging continues to strengthen, leading to a gradual week-long warm up, which will bring the 80s back to inland areas. Friday night/Saturday morning looks to mix things up with a stronger cold front backed by a large continental air mass. This will bring a sunny and cooler weekend, but we’ll start the week off with evening lows near 40 on the waterfront, meaning inland areas will drop to near-freezing levels. Expect the colder air to linger for a while.
