11/27 Ryan’s “Thanksgiving” Thursday Morning Forecast

It's Thanksgiving, and we're getting some much more seasonal weather just in time for the holiday!

It has been trending on the “spring-like” side of things for the last couple of weeks, but things are getting appropriately cool as begin Thanksgiving! Lows fell into the upper 30s/low 40s across the area this morning, with a persistent 5-10 mph northerly breeze. The dry air moving in along with high pressure will keep skies completely clear, leading to a beautifully sunny Thanksgiving afternoon ahead, but we’ll see even colder weather as we head into tomorrow before things start warming up. That means lows falling into the mid 30s along the coast, with inland areas dipping below freezing and into the upper 20s. That’s freeze/frost territory, so remember to bring in/cover any sensitive outdoor plants or pets you’re able to. Friday afternoon will be even cooler than today’s, dropping into the upper 50s/low 60s, but after that we’ll warm rapidly through Saturday and into Sunday.
