11/16 – Rob’s “Sunny & Cool” Afternoon Forecast

The colder air moving in will continue to bring gusting winds through tonight. Winds will periodically gust into the upper teens to low 20 mph range. Moving into tonight, strong radiational cooling combined with a north wind will bring low temperatures in the mid-40s along the beach…and even colder inland.

A reinforcement of the continental airmass will occur late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning as high-pressure to the north lifts north, tracks east, then pushing back south again. High pressure to our east at the surface and aloft at midweek will keep the weather dry across the area through the weekend with mainly easterly wind flow. The next significant chance of precipitation will probably hold off until about next Tuesday (11/24), when a cold front is expected to move into the area from the west.
