11/07 Ryan’s “Wet” Thursday Evening Forecast

Finally getting a little wet today in South MS as the cold front pushes through overnight. So far rainfall has been inconsistent, with three-hour estimates showing mostly trace amounts and only a few areas over an inch. Expect a few showers to linger into the morning, but we’ll be left with decent cloud cover for most of the day.

Even that clears out as we head through the night though, and the weekend is looking sunny, dry, and cool.

Expect highs in the 60s through tomorrow and Saturday, but temperatures will rise quickly into the beginning of the week as another front moves in. This one initially had high rainfall estimates, but those are lessening now. It will bring an Arctic air-mass into the Southeast, so expect at least one night near freezing as we begin next week.
