11/06 Ryan’s “20° Above Normal” Wednesday Morning Forecast
It's still considerably warmer than normal out there, over 20° above where we should be in early November.
It’s another warm one out there across South MS, and while it’s slightly cooler than the start of the week was it’s still 20° above normal. Our morning lows should be in the low 50s for the first week of November, and today’s low of 75 for Gulfport is certainly no where near that. Our afternoon high of 84 is only 10° above normal, so we remain consistently warmer and more humid than we should be…just not dramatically so. I do expect some slight cooling over the rest of the week as cloud cover and rain chances inch up slightly, but they won’t climb above 20% until the weekend. Even then it looks like it’ll only go up to 30% before things dry out next week.
Tropics: things look a little better for South MS with Hurricane Rafael. The latest forecasts push it a little further westward, and continues its downward rapid degeneration/disorganization as it approaches the Southwestern/Central Louisiana coast.
