10/17 Ryan’s “Autumn Afternoon” Tuesday Forecast
We’ll have to wait a little while longer for the Autumn hues, but the Autumn weather has already begun. Today was dry, sunny, and clear; and these conditions will last throughout the rest of the week before we’ll begin to see any significant changes. This cold airmass will slowly warm over the next few days, but should not climb out of the low 80s at any point. The humidity will remain lower than average until late Friday afternoon when the ridge over the Southeast moves far enough East to set up Southerly “return flow.” That means the humidity will begin to rise Friday night, which will bring about an increase in cloud over and eventually showers and thunderstorms as a shortwave trough moves through Saturday and Sunday.
No significant areas of development in the Tropics.
