10/4 – Brittany Warden’s “Warmer Temps Ahead” Tuesday Night Forecast
A weak disturbance from earlier this afternoon has push through the area but the upper level clouds will continue overnight. Upper clouds coupled with increased moisture will bring warmer temperatures tonight and through Friday. Northeast winds will be in place through tomorrow, switching to the SE during the afternoon. The more humid/moisture flow will continue through Friday. Humidity will be on the increase as morning lows will moderate into the mid-60s, and afternoon highs will reach the mid-80s.
An approaching cold front will be in the area by the end of the week, moving through south Mississippi Friday evening with a cooler drier air mass to follow. Only a few late Friday afternoon showers are anticipated. Morning lows will dip into the mid-50s and we will reach 80 for a high temperatures by Sunday. Cooler temperatures with plenty of sunshine expected this weekend with breezy conditions in the afternoons.
