10/31 – Jeff Vorick’s “Turning COLD” Halloween Evening Forecast

Skies do end up clearing out this evening but the chill is only just beginning. Temperatures plummet tonight and winds will remain elevated. Be sure to secure any Halloween decorations and also, if taking part in any activities, dress for the cold. Clear skies will allow for temperatures to drop into the 30s overnight.

Sunshine returns for your Wednesday, but it will still be a cold start. There will be wind chills in the 20s for tomorrow morning. Winds remain breezy at times through the day tomorrow and temperatures will struggle to reach 60 degrees.

Wednesday night into Thursday morning will be the coldest night once winds back off. Some spots could see frost issues with a Freeze Watch in place for Pearl River, Stone, and George County for the wee hours of Thursday morning. A moderating trend in temperatures begins late in the week with above-seasonal readings back by the weekend.
