10/24 Ryan’s “Getting Cloudy” Wednesday Night Forecast

It’s been clear for most of the day, but skies are getting cloudy as we head into the night. Cloud cover and rain chances will continue to increase as an area of low pressure and developing fronts moves in.

THIS SETUP SHOULD KEEP ANY STRONG CONVECTION ELEVATED, SO FEW THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED BUT THEY AREN’T IMPOSSIBLE.

The rain will remain steady through the night and into tomorrow evening. Rainfall estimates are as high as 2″ for tomorrow, and higher values could be found if pockets of heavy rain develop. After this system moves through we’ll be treated with a long period of perfect South MS Fall weather. Afternoons from Sunday through Wednesday will be sunny, dry, and have highs in the mid 70s. Evening will range from the lower-to-mid 50s, and will be equally as clear and dry. We’ll see another front move through between Monday and Tuesday, but it’ll only reinforce the cool dry air we already have and won’t bring any more active weather.
