10/22 – Payton’s Monday Afternoon Forecast
Temperatures continue to climb after a chilly start this morning. Highs will top out in the mid 70s. We’ll also see quite a bit of cloud cover move in throughout the day, but rain chances will hold off until this evening and into the overnight hours. By Tuesday rain chances will increase with the entire area having a chance of seeing scattered showers. Wednesday will bring a brief dry period with another cold front moving through. By Thursday things change quite a bit as we watch the remnants of Hurricane Willa in the Pacific make its way toward Texas and the Gulf Coast. Models have come into agreement with bringing the NON tropical low near South Mississippi by Thursday. Depending on the exact track, that will determine where the heaviest rain falls. Thursday will also be quite breezy as the low moves nearby. Beyond Thursday and going into the weekend, rain chance drop and we’re expecting another gorgeous Fall weekend.
