10/2 – Rob Knight’s “Sunny & Warm” Weekend Forecast

A weak cold front overhead will get an additional push further SE this evening/overnight. There is no cool down with this system but slightly drier air will bring…not as humid conditions this weekend, under sunny skies. High-pressure to the NW will move SE and shape the forecast with sunny becoming partly cloudy Sunday as upper-level clouds will move overhead.

Heading into Monday, a cold front will move west to east north of the I-20 corridor. This will bring the return flow back to the area with a few showers and possible t-storms Monday afternoon. The next significant cold front will move through mid-week with stronger cold air advection.
