10/2 – Rob Knight’s Beautiful FriYay Morning Forecast
Re-enforcing Canadian cold front currently to the south of the forecast area will continue to bring VERY LOW HUMIDITY to the region. Clear skies and mild temperatures will continue through the weekend. Full radational cooling is expected tonight with some drainage enhancement in and near river valleys for lows returning to the lower 50s, possibly 49 in a couple of low lying places in interior portions of the forecast area. Daytime temperatures will be October pleasant in the 70s. Another disturbance will swing through the region and bring yet another re-enforcing shot of dry air Sunday night to maintain the milder conditions through the upcoming weekend.
A weaker but effective subsidence high-pressure should remain in place over the Gulf States to allow for steady warming trend and confine any tropical wave/depression developments in the lower Gulf of Mexico to remain under the influence of the Central American Gyre flow pattern. A continuation of dry conditions to prevail for the entire forecast period.
