10/18 Ryan’s “Nestor Near Miss” Friday Forecast

Tropical storm Nestor was thankfully a near miss, but we’ll still be feeling a few effects through the night. Skies will remain cloudy for the rest of the night, wind gusts as high as 30 mph are possible, and we’ll see at least a few showers by sunrise. Other than that, Nestor will be out of our hair pretty quickly. That means the weather will improve rapidly into Saturday.

Sunny skies and warmer afternoon highs will carry us through the weekend.

Temperatures will slowly rise into the low 80s by Monday, just in time for our next front to move through. Initially it didn’t look like this front would have much moisture to work with, but rain chances are climbing with each new model run. Right now I’d say showers are likely and a few thunderstorms aren’t out of the question. After it passes, temperatures fall into the mid 70s for the rest of the week with chilly nights in between.
