10/14 – Brittany’s “Another Cool Night” Friday Evening Forecast
High pressure will continue to shape the forecast. It will provide a nice evening with southeast winds around 5 to 10 MPH becoming light and variable tonight. Another cool night is in store with mid to upper 50s overnight.
On Saturday, expect a slightly warmer day with low-80s across the area. It will be another sunny day. High pressure that has been to our north and northwest will move to our east by late Saturday. This will begin a modification of our airmass to a more humid one. Sunday morning will have slightly warmer morning lows in the low to mid 60s. Expect a few clouds to move in and highs in the mid-80s.
In advance of an approaching cold front from the northwest, Monday will be more humid with increasing clouds. With the cold front having a shallower slope and moisture not recovering enough by Monday, there will not be enough support for thunderstorms. There will be a 40% chance of rain in place. The front comes through Monday into Tuesday with much colder temperatures behind it. Morning lows next week will be in the 30s and 40s, with high temperatures struggling to make it 70 degrees Wednesday and Thursday.
