10/05 Ryan’s “Warmer, Few Clouds” Monday Night Forecast

Great start to the week after a perfect weekend, but a few clouds and now Tropical Storm Delta has its sights set on a landfall near South MS by the end of the week. Current timing has this occurring overnight Friday, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was a little later.

DELTA WILL LIKELY BECOME A MAJOR HURRICANE BY WEDNESDAY, BUT INCREASING SHEAR AND COOLING WATER ARE EXPECTED TO WEAKEN IT BEFORE LANDFALL.

In the meantime, expect to see slowly increasing cloud cover and at least a few showers. Tonight will begin clear, but clouds will move in through the night as a front drifts northward from the Gulf. Isolated showers are possible through the afternoon, but nothing significant seems likely. Tomorrow afternoon will bring partly sunny skies, with a high of 76. Be sure to stay tuned to WXXV News 25 for updates on Tropical Storm Delta.
