1/3 – Rob Knight’s “Colder/Drier” 1st Weekend Of The New Year

The main front will take some time to get through the area as low, not until tonight. Spotty rainfall will continue with drying of the airmass after midnight tonight.

Passage of pre-frontal trough will knock temperatures back down into the mid-50s-lower 60s later this afternoon. Winds will begin to elevate this afternoon and through tonight as the main system moves east across the area. Clouds will continue tonight with clearing beginning closer to sunrise tomorrow. Skies should completely clear around noon Saturday with a colder/drier air mass moving in for the weekend into Monday.

Another system will move through Tuesday. Moisture will be somewhat starved with this front, so not much activity is expected.
