1/22 – Jeff’s “Warmer/Rainer This Week” Monday Night Forecast

Winds turn more southeasterly tonight into tomorrow with elevated winds overnight and breezy conditions Tuesday. A 20% chance of passing light rain is possible tonight while there will be a 30% chance of rain at times tomorrow. Rain becomes much more substantial as the week progresses and warm temperatures will also remain in place.

Several disturbances and a potent frontal system will be in the area this week. Rounds of heavy rain and possible severe thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday through the first half of Saturday. Fine details on exact timing will come to fruition as we get closer to the end of the week but expect thunderstorms to bring the threat of heavy rain, strong winds, and potential tornadic activity.
