1/13 – Payton’s Sunday Night Forecast
The cold front moved through the area on Saturday and brought with it much cooler air. Tonight will be cold with lows in the upper 30s. Monday will bring a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures in the upper 50s. Tuesday will be similar with highs in the upper 50s and a few clouds. By Wednesday high pressure begins to build to the east and moisture and some clouds will return. Temperatures will begin their rise into the 60s as well. By Thursday another frontal boundary looks like it will bring showers, but no cold air. Friday will be mostly cloudy with highs above average in the upper 60s. By Saturday highs will climb into the lower 70s and showers will be in the area. Saturdays system will bring an arctic blast. Temperatures on Sunday will be colder with highs in the 40s. By Sunday night temperatures look like they will drop to freezing and maybe even 20s are possible. It’s still too early to get specific numbers, but overall it appears cold temperatures will be here by Sunday and last into much of next week. Stay tuned for updated forecasts.
