1/12 – Jeff’s “Very COLD Next Week” Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend Forecast
Saturday and Sunday will both feature cold starts, with temperatures in the 30s. Afternoons will be pleasant with more cloud cover and noticeable winds on Sunday. A frontal system will be making its way into the region for Monday bringing a 40% chance of rain during the afternoon. The question then becomes when cold air works in, and when moisture leaves. There is the possibility for a wintry mix late Monday into early Tuesday.
The big issue becomes dangerous cold. Tuesday will see temperatures struggle to climb through the 30s, and a bone-chilling night. Wednesday morning will have temperatures in the TEENS, and wind chills in the SINGLE DIGITS. Take the cold seriously and make sure to exercise necessary caution with the 4 P’s.
