09/12 Ryan’s “More Humid” Monday Forecast

After an abundance of dry & sunny weather heading into last weekend, it’s a much more humid start to this week. Overall though, don’t expect much change in the forecast over the next seven days, as a stationary frontal boundary will continue to break down overhead, causing afternoon showers and storms. We’ll see some interaction with a nearby tropical wave which will bring more moisture into the Southeastern states by Wednesday. By Thursday another frontal system will have moved through the area, leading to some slight clearing/drying as we head into next weekend.

A new tropical disturbance appeared just West of Africa, but it has a low chance of tropical formation within 5 days. We will continue to monitor its development.
