09/12 Ryan’s “Back to Normal” Monday Forecast
After a spectacularly dry and sunny end to last week, things certainly have gotten back to normal on this Monday afternoon. For the next several days you can expect our usual sea breeze setup, where we’ll have a mostly sunny & humid day be interrupted by some cooling afternoon showers & t-storms. Temperatures will remain in the upper 80s throughout the week, with only the inland areas expected to delve too deeply into the 90s. Convection will be aided by the stationary boundary that will continue to decay overhead, before another cold front begins to approach South MS by Thursday. Severe potential minimal.
A tropical disturbance near Cuba has a 10% of formation within the next two days, but conditions are not favorable for development at this time. TS Ian continues to move Northwestward in the Central Atlantic, but only slight strengthening and no landfall is expected.
