08/27 Ryan’s “Typical” Monday Night Forecast

Today was another typical summer afternoon in South Mississippi, and we’ll see many more such days this week!

AFTERNOON SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL COME AND GO EACH DAY UNTIL AROUND SATURDAY, WHICH IS THE FIRST TIME I EXPECT TO SEE ANYTHING LESS THAN A 40% CHANCE.

That means each afternoon will see increased cloud cover as the sea breeze sets up and daily shower activity. Nothing serious is expected, but we will see between 1.5-2″ of rain over the next seven days, so some localized flooding could be an issue if any storms linger. As the weekend rolls around, we’ll see the rain drying up a little, but the cloud cover lingers for a few more days. We’ll start of next week almost the same way we started this one though, with partly sunny skies and some spotty showers.
