08/23 Ryan’s “Still Dry” Thursday Night Forecast

It’s still dry in South Mississippi, y’all! The good news is this trend will last another couple of days, but the bad is the rain does return.

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY WILL BOTH BE SIMILAR TO THE CONDITIONS WE SAW TODAY. EXPECT MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES, HIGHS IN THE LOW 90S, AND LITTLE-TO-NO RAIN.

Sadly, the nearly perfect days end there. As Sunday rolls around our humidity will have slowly returned to it’s usual moderately high level, and daytime heating will produce enough instability to usher in our first chance of significant rain. Even then it’s only 40%, and only goes as high as 50% by Monday before tapering off again. The weakened front that brings our rainy start will stall and linger in the area for a few days, but we’ll be right back to “normal” summertime weather by Wednesday.
