08/18 Ryan’s “Weak Sea Breeze” Tuesday Forecast

A weak sea breeze tried to get something going in the late afternoon, but it just wasn’t happening. Drier air in the mid levels is limiting activity today and tomorrow, but rain chances will double by the weekend. Don’t expect much tonight as we’ll see mostly clear skies and a low near 73.

TOMORROW WILL BE A TEXTBOOK “AVERAGE” SUMMER DAY, SO EXPECT A HIGH IN THE LOW 90S WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE OF AFTERNOON SEA BREEZE SHOWERS.

It’s really at this point things start to go the other direction on us. While highs will begin falling into the 80s as we head into the weekend, rain chances climb from 20% on Wednesday, to 50% by Friday. There doesn’t seem to be anything significant happening in the skies above us, but a short-wave or two will pass over during peak heating hours over the weekend…meaning more afternoon showers.
