08/17 Ryan’s “Slightly Drier” Monday Night Forecast

Get ready for a few drier days as a few weak fronts will move slowly through South MS. Today was on the drier side as well, but a late afternoon thunderstorm did drift in by 5 PM. Tomorrow will be drier, and we’ll start seeing some of those changes as early as tonight. Expect it to be slightly cooler with a low near 72 and light, northerly winds. Tomorrow will be a degree or so cooler as well, high down to 92 with sunny skies.

RAIN CHANCES ARE EXTREMELY LOW, BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE ALONG OUR COASTAL AREAS.

The next couple of days are going to be hard to complain about as well. Expect mostly sunny skies at worst with cooling highs. Remember though any cooling is going to be slight, only falling into the upper 80s by Wednesday. It’s at this point we begin to see rain chances climbing back to “normal” (~30%), but sadly they’ll increase further into the weekend. This will be due to the development of a surface low along the front’s remains, so expect likely showers and thunderstorms on Friday and Saturday, but they’ll largely clear by Sunday.
