08/17 Ryan’s “Active Afternoon” Friday Night Forecast
It was an active afternoon in South MS, and despite some slight overnight clearing we’ll see more stormy afternoons ahead. In fact, expect almost no change in the weather pattern from now until after next week has started.
AFTERNOONS WILL BE HOT AND HUMID WITH AT LEAST A 50% CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS, WHILE EVENINGS WILL BE COOLER AND CLEARER.
We will see many fronts move nearby, but we’ll have to wait until Thursday morning for a true frontal passage which will bring cooler/drier conditions. So, until Thursday we’ll still have a decent chance of afternoon showers, and after the front moves through it’ll drop to around 20%. This drier and sunny weather will carry us through the weekend, but temperatures will begin climbing back into the low-to-mid 90s by then as well.
