07/17 – Steve’s REALLY Hot WorkWeek Forecast

With the Bermuda High building its way southwestward, much of the southeastern United States will see dwindling rain chances for the early and middle part of the upcoming week. With that sort of subsidence in place overhead and stagnant air at the surface, our daily high temps are going to heat up quite well this week.

Prepare for heat index values over 105 degree by midweek and possibly higher. Heat stress is going to become prevalent, too, so make sure to stay indoors and use your air conditioner. There may be elderly in your community that can’t stay cool effectively or very young children … please help them find a way to stay cool this week!
