07/23 James’ “Weather Kid” Wednesday Forecast

Meet James, this week's WXXV Weather kid!

Today’s WXXV Weather Kid Wednesday featured forecaster is James, a local 11 year old from the Gulfport area. James is a big fan of weather, and loves to go outside and watch storm as they roll through…at least as long as it’s safe to do so. He’s interested in tornadoes and other natural disasters, and will likely look into storm chasing in the near future. While there isn’t much severe weather expected in the days ahead, staying inside and avoiding the dangerous heat is just as important as avoiding strong storms. Thankfully, he won’t get bored doing so as he loves reading, games, and crafting. Thanks for joining me today, James!
