07/20 Ryan’s “Nice” Monday Night Forecast

Just like over the weekend, we saw more nice weather today in South MS…nice, but still hot and humid.

THANKFULLY THOUGH IT WASN’T TOO HOT AND HUMID, AND THE DRIER TREND WE BEGAN LAST WEEK CONTINUES.

That means we won’t see any rain for the rest of the night or tomorrow afternoon. Tonight expect to see mostly clear skies with a low of 77 and light winds. Tomorrow afternoon heats up, but only into the low 90s on the waterfront with a very small chance of afternoon shower. Wednesday is largely the same, with only slightly higher rain chances near 20%.

IT WON’T BE UNTIL THURSDAY THAT WE’LL SEE OUR FIRST SIGNIFICANT CHANGE THANKS TO AN APPROACHING TROPICAL WAVE.

This wave doesn’t have much of a chance of tropical development, but does bring a significant amount of moisture and energy into the Northern Gulf. This raises rain chances into the 40-60% range for Thursday and Friday, which does cool things down a bit. By the weekend we’ll be right back to “normal,” with highs in the low 90s and around a 30% of afternoon showers.
