07/13 Ryan’s “Fry-Day” Friday Evening Forecast

I hope you’ve enjoyed this Fry-day afternoon’s drier conditions, because they’ll continue into the weekend! It has been quite a scorcher though.

Afternoon heat indices have steadily lingered beyond 100 degrees for a few days now, and those will only go up for Saturday and Sunday.

Southerly winds will keep the moisture flow steady over South MS, and by the time next week rolls around we’ll begin seeing more showers. In the absence of any frontal passages, these will still just be impulse, daytime heating, and/or sea breeze induced. Expect it to rain about half of the day for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, but showers will begin tapering off as we approach next weekend.
