07/03 Ryan’s “Early Summer” Friday Morning Forecast
It's hot and humid outside, dangerously so even, but it only gets hotter as we're still in early summer.
Things are heating up as we head into the 4th of July weekend, but remember it’s still early in summer and we have a long way to go. As far as today and this weekend goes, it’s looking about as good as it gets for a summer holiday weekend. We’re still going to see some shower and thunderstorm activity this afternoon, and likely a bit for tomorrow as well, but they don’t look likely to ruin anyone’s holiday festivities. Expect to climb into the low-to-mid 90s, with heat indices in the 100-104° range. That’ll keep us just under heat advisory territory, but just barely so continue to practice heat safety as you enjoy your Independence Day. Stay hydrated, seek shade and AC, use sunblock, and wear light, loose-fitting clothing.
