06/27 Ryan’s “More Humid” Tuesday Forecast

The last few days have come and gone as expected and tonight’s “more humid” forecast is no exception. I’m expecting more cloud cover and higher humidity to continue moving into the area overnight, setting the stage for a rainy afternoon tomorrow. An extension of the stationary boundary lingering in the Northwestern Gulf will continue to strengthen as it moves slowly Northeastward, bringing showers on Wednesday and stronger storms on Thursday. Significant rain chances continue into Friday & Saturday, but will begin tapering off considerably by Sunday, when we should begin seeing the skies clearing some.

The beginning of the next work week will bring back the Sun just in time for the 4th of July on Tuesday, with mostly sunny skies and drier air expected. The increased Sun will lead to warmer temperatures (rising into the low 90s), so be sure to protect yourself from dehydration and overexposure as you celebrate.
