06/13 Ryan’s “Wet & Calm” Tuesday Forecast

The showers are finally wrapping up for the evening, but we’re still in for wet & calm conditions with wet grounds land light winds. I’m expecting this to lead to some patchy fog early tomorrow morning, but the wind will shift southerly and increase as we head into the afternoon. No severe weather is expected, but showers and thunderstorms scatter across the Gulf Coast each day, and will weaken into the evening well into Saturday.

Father’s Day is expected to remain at least partly sunny, but the chance of showers drops to about 30%. I still expect at least a few showers to pop up, but overall it will be a much “better” day in terms of sun & overall dryness. Monday continues the drier trend, but rain chances creep back up to 30% by Tuesday.

No tropical development expected within the next 48 hours.
