06/22 Ryan’s “Wet Start” Monday Night Forecast

Already off to  a pretty wet start this week, completely opposite from last week’s sunny, hot, and drier weather. A few showers will linger through the night, with a warm low near 77 degrees. And tomorrow won’t be any better than today was with mostly cloudy skies, a 60% chance of rain, and more hot/humid conditions. That’s pretty much all you need to explain the next week.

TEMPERATURES WILL FALL SLIGHTLY DUE TO THE INCREASE CLOUD COVER AND RAIN-COOLED AIR, BUT IT WILL REMAIN HOT AND HUMID FOR THE ENTIRE FORECAST PERIOD.

That means today’s muggy, miserable heat will continue well into the start of next week as well, with the only relief coming in the form of afternoon thunderstorms. Overall rain totals shouldn’t be anything to be concerned about, but hyper-localized areas could see enough to cause a few standing-water issues.
