06/14 Ryan’s “Pattern Changes” Friday Evening Forecast

We enjoyed a full week of drier and generally sunny weather, but that pattern is quickly coming to an end. Tonight will be more than five degrees warmer than the previous night as return flow sets up.

I’m expecting a much deeper layer of moisture over the South MS area and this, coupled with a weak warm front, will bring rain chances back.

I don’t expect much rain though. Chances through the week max at 30% through the middle of next week, but most will linger in the 20% range. Basically, you can expect a hot and more humid day with a few daytime heating/sea breeze showers popping up. These are generally short-lived and weak, but can sometimes lead to locally high rain totals. This trend begins tomorrow and holds through all of next week and into the official start of summer next Friday.
