06/11 Ryan’s “Slightly Cooler” Tuesday Evening Forecast

It’s still hot out there South MS, but it is slightly cooler than it was yesterday. Temperatures are down from the mid 90s and are now into the upper 80s.

Heat indices are much more manageable as well thanks to the lower humidity, but they’re still climbing into the low-to-mid 90s so please protect yourself outside.

Don’t expect much to change for the rest of the week. Temperatures will remain in the low 90s until Thursday, which is when another weak cold front moves in. This will cool us off another degree or two as we head into the weekend, but the drier conditions won’t last much longer.

A warm front begins to develop in the Northern Gulf by Saturday, and while it doesn’t hold together long it will bring higher humidity, more cloud cover, and higher rain chances to South MS.

Expect this wetter weather to last through the beginning of the week, which is when it seems the sea breeze returns and afternoon showers become more likely.
