05/31 Ryan’s “Gloomy” Wednesday Forecast
The gloomy days just keep coming! A stationary boundary moved into the area a few days ago and continues to linger, acting as a jumping off point for showers & storms during the afternoon. Tonight’s low will rise slightly, but remain around 73 along the waterfront with cloudy skies and a few scattered showers.
Tomorrow will bring more gloomy conditions as well! Skies will remain at least mostly cloudy, with showers in the morning/night, and slightly stronger thunderstorms during the warmest parts of the afternoon. Afternoon high will remain in the low 80s on the waterfront, mid 80s inland, with cloudy skies and a 60% chance of showers/storms through the day.
I wish I could say that it gets better from there, but that’s just not true. Expect similar days to the one described above all the way into Sunday and Monday of next week, before we’ll finally begin seeing any cooling and drying. If everything goes as planned we’ll see partly sunny skies by Wednesday, with slightly cooler and drier air.
