05/13 Ryan’s “Finally Sunny” Wednesday Morning Forecast

After a long rainy period, it's finally sunny again in South Mississippi!

We’re coming out of a long, cloudy, and rainy period, so I’m proud to say it’s finally sunny in South MS once again. We’ll hold on to a few clouds through the mid-morning hours, but expect the afternoon to thin out even further. We’ll see another pop of cloud cover in the pre-sunrise hours of Thursday due to a weak front, but they’ll be gone by Thursday morning as high pressure builds in. That means sunshine for the rest of the week, with a little cloud cover starting to move back in for the weekend. Still looks like rain will stay away, though a stray shower can’t be ruled out for Sunday morning at the moment.

Expect this morning’s cloud cover to thin out for the afternoon, leading to mostly sunny skies with a high near 83 degrees and light northerly winds.
