05/07 Ryan’s “Wet” Wednesday Morning Forecast

More wet weather ahead for your Wednesday afternoon...and for the next few days as well.

We’re in for a wet Wednesday ahead as we’ve already seen consistent shower activity and a couple of thunderstorms through the morning hours. That’s added to yesterday’s rainfall totals, which were lackluster until the evening’s shower/thunderstorm activity brought over three inches! It looks like we’ll add at least a half inch to that today, though I feel those estimates from the WPC are on the low side. Regardless, even more wet weather is expected for the rest of the week, so flooding issues are likely to begin popping up soon if they haven’t already. Remember to watch for flooded areas and avoid them while travelling.

All this rain will keep things slightly cooler than it’s been trending with highs in the upper 70s instead of the low-to-mid 80s. The rain will continue consistently until Friday, but will start to break up some as we head into the weekend.
