04/14 – Brantly’s “Pleasant” Tuesday Afternoon Forecast
Temperatures are much cooler today with highs only expected to top out in the mid 70s under mostly sunny skies.
High pressure will continue to dominate the region through late workweek, bringing us rather calm conditions. Winds will be primarily northerly through the week with breezy conditions tonight into early Wednesday.
Daytime highs should drop to the lower 70s by Wednesday with overnight lows in the lower 50s. Skies will remain mostly clear through mid-week until moisture flow returns to the region on Thursday.
Saturday into Sunday, an upper level low-pressure system will begin making its way across the western US, approaching our area. Southerly surface winds Friday – Sunday will lead to moisture and warm air moving into the area ahead of the low pressure system.
Increasing instability in the atmosphere will elevate rain chances for the weekend as a result. The amount of rain for the weekend still depends on how the system develops over the next few days. Stay tuned for updates.
