04/08 Ryan’s “Wild Weather” Thursday Night Forecast

Quite a wild weather day today as we began the day with severe storms rushing through, and ended perfectly sunny. Sadly, we’ll only keep those clear skies for a few more hours before more active weather moves in.

Most of tomorrow will just be spotty showers, but the back end of the day could get a bit loud.

That’s due to an approaching front which we can expect to begin moving through the area early in the morning, similar to last night. Right now that’s around 3 AM Saturday, bringing an “enhanced” risk to South MS. Even if there is no “severe weather,” we’re still looking at 2-3″ of rainfall in just a few hours. That’ll likely cause some localized flooding issues, so be weather aware over the next few days as this system develops.
