04/08 Ryan’s “Still Cloudy” Monday Forecast

Last night’s storms have moved off to the east, but cloudy skies and a few showers remain through the night. A weak low pressure system is going to pass just north of South MS by the early morning hours bringing increased cloud cover and a slight chance of showers.

The low will be on it’s way out by sunrise tomorrow, and after a few hours of wrap-around moisture we’ll begin to see clearing skies.

That means we’ll see much more sunshine through the back half of Tuesday and all of Wednesday. The rest of the week isn’t so bad either. Light cloud cover begins to build back in by Thursday, but rain isn’t expected until late Friday into Saturday. This new activity is associated with a front moving out of the plains which will stall out before pulling another front through. That means we’ll see cloudy skies and scattered showers through the weekend and into next week before things begin clearing again.
