04/03 – Brantly’s “Comfortable” Weekend Forecast
High temperatures today will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Lows tonight will be in the mid 50s inland, with upper 50s to around 60 degrees closer to the coast. Highs on Saturday will be warmer, in the low to mid 80s.
Weather models continue to be in disagreement with the strength and progression of our next rain maker. One of our main models, the European model, continues to be on the dry side with a weaker system and it appears the other main model, the American GFS, has trended towards the weaker system as well. Because of this, rain chances remain low on Sunday but a few showers cannot be ruled out, especially along the southern area to account for the guidance not agreeing.
By Monday, the next southern stream of moisture will begin to move out from over the southern plains. This will likely bring better rain chances across our northwestern areas by late afternoon. Temperatures will remain warm with the weak zonal flow aloft and highs will be in the low to mid 80s with Sunday being the coolest day due to increased clouds.
