03/18 Ryan’s “Warming/Happy Birthday Sig” Wednesday Morning Forecast

It still felt like winter this morning with temperatures near freezing, but we're warming sharply through the start of next week.

Still cold out there this morning as temperatures lingered near freezing in many South Mississippi locations, but we won’t see a return of those temperatures for quite some time as we begin warming sharply. We’re seeing that warming trend this afternoon as well, with highs climbing out of the low-to-mid 50s and into the 60s today. We’ll keep climbing up the thermometer over the weekend, and by the start of next week our morning lows will be in the low 60s where today’s afternoon high is. Quite the turnaround, but no longer “unseasonal” by then since Friday is the first day of spring, which is right around the time we’ll continue warming past our normals for this time of year.
