03/12 Ryan’s “Very Foggy” Friday Night Forecast

Just like last night, we’re in for quite a foggy night and morning ahead. Dense fog advisories have been issued for all of South MS and as far north as Hattiesburg. Tonight’s sky will get slightly more cloudy, but the fog will be the biggest issue locally.

With dense fog, remember to not use your high beams while driving, slow down, and give yourself plenty of time to stop.

Tonight’s low will fall a degree from yesterday, down to a cool 59. Tomorrow will still be warm and humid, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 76. Clouds will come and go for most of the day, but by the end they’ll begin to build again and won’t clear. That means overcast skies by Sunday, with rain moving in Monday. That’s due to an approaching front, but it won’t pass through quickly. In fact, just as it’s about to push through it transitions into a warm front, and traps us in another warm sector. That’s going to keep wet, warm, and humid weather in place until after next Wednesday.
