02/25 Ryan’s “Considerably Warmer” Wednesday Morning Forecast

Yesterday morning was below freezing across South MS, but today...and the rest of the week...will be considerably warmer.

We woke up to considerably warmer weather this morning after yesterday’s frosty start as a front creeps in. That’s why we’re once again seeing consistent southerly winds, “return flow,” and jumped over 20° in just 24 hours. That led to a morning low of 55 degrees for Gulfport this morning, with continued warming leading to another spring-like afternoon with highs in the 70s. In fact, outside of a couple of slight exceptions, every morning and afternoon for the next week will be warmer than the last, eventually leading to highs near 80 by the start of next week. We’ll see a little rain in between as well, spotty showers popping up as early as tomorrow morning and picking up through the night into Friday morning. It doesn’t look like severe weather will be a concern as it passes through Thursday night, but we’ll keep you updated.
